Wonderful breakfast. Comfy and cozy. The ambiance is quiet and you can enjoy your breakfast while reading or working. The tables are really nice and the owners provide great customer service. They really need WiFi here. They don’t have it currently. I am hoping they decide it is best for their business.

I'd rate the food about 4/5 stars but the wait was incredibly long even though they were not busy and we had a table. Staff was friendly but I probably will not be back any time soon.

Perfection

Addictive, amazing, and fresh food served by a friendly staff. Our office used to be around the corner and I ate here all the time. Sadly I'm only able I get over here about one month now. Highly recommend the burgers, poached salmon, and chicken. Oh, and the spicy chicken pasta. Actually, I haven't had a bad meal here.The spicy poached salmon is highly addictive (you've been warned!)

Generally go there with my colleagues every Tuesday. There are about 12 of us and the owners know us and treat us like family. The service and food are very good and very dependable. It has to be for us to go back week after week.

Cute neighborhood breakfast spot that is affordable, clean, and Not too busy. Staff is kind, and service is quick. Breakfast was pretty good--the eggs were a little overcooked but still tasty. They have cute little bowls outside that they fill with water for patrons with dogs.

Food and service was good. Would give a higher rating, but every surface in the place was in need of thorough cleaning.

Everything's fresh, and delicious. Love the salsa, and the cold pressed juice. The owners and staff are friendly and great people.

Amazing homemade soups, great salads, great for breakfast, and great baked treats too !!Zabies is a family owned, neighborhood cafe/ restaurant that is run with a lot of heart.We love it !!

The couple that own it are super sweet people that will go out of their way to please you. I'm sure if you have dietary restrictions, they would accommodate. I usually get breakfast that, because there's no waiting in line. the food is good and satisfying. I recommend Zabies.

Quiet and good food for breakfast

Person that brought me here had been here frequently and was friends with the owners. I have never been there but felt like a family member once I answered the doors. They were hospitable, friendly, and actually quite kind. The food must have been great as it was a great experience. Anywhere this friend takes me seems to be a great place and it's hard to remember what we ate as I enjoy their company so much.

Nice location with the pleasant patio of a few tables behind a bougainvillea and umbrellas if the sun requires. Decent baked goods okay cup of coffee okay food. Nothing really to write home about but a nice pleasant non-chain Neighborhood Place. the baked goods are for once just about right size not the gigantic small cakes you almost get it the chains or the little tiny precious petifores you get in specialty places.

Always a win-win. Big selection of fresh soups (vegetarian ones, too), mixed salads and sandwiches with top-notch desserts. We've never had a meal we didn't love...and the service is excellent, very friendly and family owned.

I call their omelettes, bomblettes, cuz they are the cats meow fo sho... one of my favorite spots for breakfast and a beer.....

Wow! Food here is great and it is such a nice and quiet place to relax and have breakfast. We were visiting Santa Monica for a couple of days and went twice for breakfast and it did not disappoint. The price was great also! Bravo!

The hospitality is excellent as always. Their poached salmon is incredible. Fresh squeezed juices and smoothies as well. Plates always provide enough food without leaving stuffed. New Persian rice bowls are a new tasty item as well.

We go every week. Love the food, and the peace and quiet. The Owners; you could just hug and hug and hug them. Hard-workers and very sweet. Love the menu and the fresh made carrot juice!

Every single dish is the best food experience u have ever had. My personal favorite is the egg sausage and toast combo. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and they have great coffee.

great place

The notion of stopping by and having a fresh cooked meal, salad and desert is not on the cards here. Salad was just old lettuce leaves sprinkled with parmesan, not fresh, lasagne was store bought and microwaved, no bread and the cup cake was stale. Adios Zabies!

Great food family like restaurant, service a little slow but was worth it.

Small family restaurant with good food. Usually have their salmon and like how it is made.

Tortilla spicy chicken soup was favorable. Pesto turkey sandwich was great. Build your own omlet was yummy. Baked potato with seasoning was great. Great spot for a weekend breakfast or lunch. Service is great, ambiance is relaxing.

Pretty cool mom and pop cafe spot. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the owners really want to please. I work across the street from this place and go atleast once a week. They lunch specials are reasonable and there's not much of a crowd so you get your food quickly.
